Send your roll number to
800222
Works on Jazz, Zong, Telenor and Ufone
Please confirm: 800222 is the SMS code reported for the Punjab Grade 8 result in 2026. If PECTAA changes the code for 2027, we will update it here the day the official result instructions are announced. Do not use an old code without confirming it first.

How to Check 8th Class Result by SMS (Step by Step)

  1. Open the SMS / Messages app on your mobile phone.
  2. Create a new message.
  3. Type your roll number only — nothing else, no name, no spaces before or after.
  4. Send it to 800222.
  5. Wait a few minutes. You will receive a reply SMS with your name, total marks and result status.

What the Reply SMS Contains

The reply message normally shows your name, your total obtained marks and whether you passed or failed. It does not show subject-wise marks. For the full subject-wise result card, check the online portal by roll number or download the gazette.

SMS Charges

Standard SMS charges apply (usually a few rupees per message, depending on your mobile package). The reply SMS is also charged to your account in most cases. Make sure you have enough balance before sending.

If You Do Not Get a Reply

  • Check that you typed the roll number correctly — one wrong digit means no result.
  • Check that you sent it to the right code (800222) and not to another number.
  • On result day, the SMS system can be slow because lakhs of students send messages at the same time. Wait 15–30 minutes and try again.
  • If it still does not work, check your result on the official PECTAA portal by roll number instead.

Board-Wise SMS Codes

For the Grade 8 PECTAA result, there is a single SMS code (800222) for the whole province. The BISE boards have their own separate SMS codes for 9th and 10th class results — those codes do not apply to the 8th class PECTAA result.
